Office Manager, Amsterdam

I am seeking a driven, enthusiastic and bilingual Office Manager to embrace a new opportunity in Amsterdam!

You will be working for an International trading firm, based in their newly opened Amsterdam Office. With offices based internationally, they have just opened their newest office in Amsterdam and are looking for an Office Manager to oversee the day to day and management of the office of 10.

Responsibilities 

  • Being the face for the office - meet and greet all clients and visitors 
  • Being the first point of contact within the office 
  • Working with remote Office Management teams to coordinate and directly book business travel arrangements
  • Ensuring adequate stock of stationary, snacks, kitchen, and other office supplies
  • Maintaining the condition, cleanliness, and general appearance of the office
  • Management of lunch orders and liaising with suppliers to deliver seamless lunch delivery
  • Partnering with our remote office teams to ensure consistent and effective cross-functional communication and standards
  • Supporting cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Business Management) on a variety of responsibilities as necessary
  • Partnering with HR and IT for onboarding and offboarding coordination
  • Organising office events, happy hours, off-sites, recruiting events, parties
  • Performing executive assistant responsibilities as necessary to the team of 10

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • At least 1 years’ experience as Office Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
  • A natural enthusiasm for resolving problems and the ability to stay cool under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • An approachable demeanor and with an upbeat attitude
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
  • A trustworthy, autonomous and enthusiastic hands-on approach to all tasks with a flexible approach to changing priorities

Working hours: 09.00 - 17.30, Monday - Friday
